It is time to renew your membership at Williamstown Sailing Club. We ask you to self-renew via the online system by going to our Homepage and Clicking “Renew My Membership” button. Then at the bottom of the registration Page select the RETURNING MEMBER button and follow the prompts.

Membership Fees for 2024/25 season

At the General Meeting held at the Club rooms on 22nd June, the fees for the coming season from 1 July 2024 were voted on by a quorum of those eligible and present at the meeting.

Vale Ian Whelan

The Club has lost one of its great supporters with the passing of a club stalwart Ian Whelan. The Club extends its sincere condolences to his wife Dawn and family.

Williamstown Heritage Week

For those living locally, this week is 'Heritage Week' in Hobsons Bay City. Williamstown Sailing Club will be part the historic seaport and yacht club walk on Sunday 21st April between 1pm and 4pm. Can you spare some time to help out?

SEASON 2023-24 OPENING DAY

WELCOME. It's time to celebrate the commencement of our 2023-2024 sailing season at our Open Day this Sunday 8th October! The day starts at 12.00 with an official welcome and raising of the club burgee.

WSC Annual General Meeting Saturday 29 July 2023

Our AGM was held last Saturday with members in attendance. The Special Resolution to approve the increased expenditure by CoM was approved with a strong majority. This included count of the postal and proxy votes received. The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of a Life Membership to John McCall who was humbled by this recognition of his outstanding service to the club. 5 Life members attended to welcome John into this honoured position.

Nominations are now open for the CoM for the 2023-24 sailing season, and according to club rules nominations are being sought for all positions on the Committee, as per our Rules. Join the Committee of Management (CoM) to help shape the Club’s future. The CoM is critical for the ongoing future of the Club.

When: Every Saturday from 9am until the end of September. As the sailing season draws to a close and activity around the Club slows over the winter months, it’s time to turn our attention to maintaining and repairing the Club facilities that we all use and enjoy. That’s right, it’s time for the Saturday working bees to commence and we hope you can help.
