This course runs for 5 mornings between 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and is delivered by Smooth Sailing School. Enrolments are OPEN via the Smooth Sailing School website.

Tackers 1

Kids work in pairs in stable training dinghies, learning basic boat parts, safety procedures and simple sailing manoeuvres through fun activities and games.

Tackers 2

Sailors further their skills and transition to solo sailing whilst building knowledge of boat handling, weather awareness and sailing theory through engaging on water adventures.

Tackers 3

Sail independently, focusing on speed and racing skills. This advanced course is designed to fine-tune kids sailing craft to further grow their skills giving a competitive edge.

Course Fees

$435 - Ages 7-12

Prerequisite:

Basic water confidence helps, but everyone wears an AS-approved lifejacket at all times.

• Certificate upon graduation
• All course materials, boats and life jackets are provided
