Green Fleet Practice

Practice your new sailing skills in sheltered waters, under the supervision of experienced sailors and assistants. WSC club boats will be provided free of charge, or you can bring your own. No need to find a partner as you will be paired and role changed as a skipper or crew on the day.

Cost:  $30 (A one off payment for all sessions to December 2025).

Catering to:

Novice Sailor: Someone who feels they need extra sailing practice in a supported environment before joining the Green Fleet division in our regular club racing series.

Age Group: 12+ years old. Parental supervision required for 12-14 years.

Sailing experience prerequisite: Completion of LTS, Tackers 3 or other similar courses. Some level of experience is required with individual competency, for example: rig and upright their own boat.

Boats: All dinghy boats accepted with minnows being the smallest (optis excluded).
