Treasurer duties


  • Collect and receive all moneys due to the Club and make all payments authorised by the Club;
  • Keep correct accounts and books showing the financial affairs of the Club with full details of all receipts and expenditure connected with the activities of the Club;
  • Collect and receive all moneys on behalf of the Club;
  • Make all payments on behalf of the Club;
  • Prepare and monitor budgets in collaboration with the Committee;
  • Prepare financial reports for Committee meetings;
  • Report financial statements to the Members;
  • Arrange for the accounts of the Club to be audited by a member of CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia who is not a Member; and
  • Keep record of financial Members at hand at General Meetings to determine entitlement to vote.
