Entering races

enews-April-2016-300-200

Enter as a competitor for the 2018-19 season

You should review the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions for the current season before you enter as a competitor.  You can find these documents on our Racing documents page.

You must be a paid-up member of the WSC before you enter the racing season.  You will not receive any results for races sailed before you are a paid-up member.

Using TES to enter the racing season

You must use TES (the TopYacht Entry System) to enter as a competitor in the 2018-19 racing season.  You can use the computer at the club to do this, or your own computer. The web address is: https://www.topyacht.com.au/entreg/enter.php?e=102.2.346

The TES home screen looks like this:

When you press ‘Enter’ on the screen above, you will see the log-in screen:

If you entered as a competitor for the WSC race season last year, your profile, with all your personal details, will still be on TES, so you don’t need to create a new one.  All you need to do to enter for the new season is:

  • Choose ‘Enter’ on the TES home screen
  • Log in with your name and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can click on the ‘Forgotten password’ link to have it resent to you.
  • When you log in successfully, check that your details are correct.
  • Add the details of your crew, if any, following the screen prompts
  • Indicate that you accept the rules by clicking the checkbox
  • Click Save. You will be added to the list of competitors.
  • Note: You can log in again and edit your entry form

If you did not enter as a competitor last year:

  • You will need to begin by creating a profile for yourself. To do this, click “Enter’ on the main screen, and then ‘Click Here’ in the purple box on the right of the screen
  • Then fill in all your details on the electronic form, following the prompts
  • Add the details of your crew if any
  • Indicate that you accept the rules by clicking the check box
  • Click Save. You will be added to the list of competitors
  • Note: You can log in again and edit your entry form

To check that you are entered as a competitor, choose the ‘View List’ option on the TES home screen.  Your name should appear on the list that appears.

If you are under the age of 19, you will need to get your parent or guardian to authorise your entry.  You can get the form here: Parent consent

Then fill out and sign the safety declaration.  Use the relevant form below:

Hand the completed safety declaration to the Club Scorer (Michael Lambiris) at the start of the season, before you commence racing.  You will not need to upload your safety declaration electronically. You will not receive any results for races sailed before your safety declaration has been received.
