An Invitation to renew your Membership for Season 2025-26

Dear Member, Invitation to Renew your Membership for Season 2025-26 It is time to renew your membership at Williamstown Sailing Club. We ask you to self-renew via the online system by going to our Homepage and Clicking “Renew My Membership” button. Then at the bottom of the registration Page select the RETURNING MEMBER button and follow the prompts. This allows you to re-join at your preferred membership level and with add-ons (such as boat registration, storage and locker).

Membership Fees for 2025/26 season

At the General Meeting held at the Club rooms on 23rd June, the fees for the coming season from 1 July 2025 were voted on by a quorum of those eligible and present at the meeting. Any Mooring Maintenance Fees will be invoiced in Early January and not required to be paid at Membership renewal time.

WSC Women Win Div 2 of 2025 Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta

An incredible all-female team from Hobsons Bay Yacht Club comprising of nearly all WSC women, recently won the prestigious Australian Women's Keelboat Regatta (Division 2). "Lanncoorie" were Skippered by Sue Burke, with WSC crew Lois Hunt, Jude Blackwood, Marg Morrisey, Susan Morewood, plus HBYS crew member Sacha Koltrum.

It is responsible for managing the Club’s day-to-day operations including its finances, resources, facilities, sailing and fishing activities, events, marketing, membership engagement and for ensuring it complies with its governance requirements as a registered association.

Notice to members vote on fee setting 7pm Monday 23/06

CoM wish to let you know that: Notice is hereby given to all financial members pursuant to Rule 19.2(b) setting of All annual and regular fees and subscriptions. All financial members are welcome to attend the setting of regular fees and subscriptions for the 2025/2026 season. The meeting will be held on Monday 23 June at 7 pm.

Williamstown sailors compete at RS Aero VIC State Championships.

On the weekend of 1st/2nd March the Victorian RS Aero State titles took place at Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. BYS has elected to hold the RS Aero Victorian State titles this year, the Nationals next year and the World titles in 2027, so this was a great opportunity to get some experience ready for the Nationals and Worlds!

Friday Night Juniors and Novice Sailing

Hobsons Bay Yacht Club (HBYC), in conjunction with Royal Yacht Club of Victoria (RYCV) and Williamstown Sailing Club (WSC) invite all juniors, novices, teens and those in their 20’s to join our Friday night series for some fun sailing.

Great news, the sailing season will be warmly welcomed with a Bollywood themed dinner on Friday 29th November. Curries will be mild to medium in heat, with chutneys available to add that extra burn to those seeking some fire in their belly.
